How to Make a Paper Lantern

It's now less than 40 days before Christmas, are your lantern all ready? If not, how about I teach you how to make a very simple lantern out of paper (any colored paper).

Step 1. First, make a square out of paper.

Step 2. Fold the paper into triangular shape twice.











Step 3. Then alternately cut each side of the paper, but don't cut up to the edge.

Step 4. Unfold the paper, then stretch it.

Step 5. Make as many as you want using the same steps to make your paper lantern longer.

Step 6. If you already made the same kind, pair them by stapling it on the middle part of the paper.

Step 7. Do the same with the others.


Step 8. Now if you have a lot of pairs, use the stapler and staple the two opposite edges of the paper to connect each other.

Step 9. Do the same thing with the other pair to make your lantern longer.
