We have been very curious how the world will end and will the world would really end. There are many predictions about the end of the world and signs that the world is nearly to end.
Here are some list of ways how the world will end.
10. Black Hole
Our researchers believe that there are ten million black holes in our milky way alone. There might come a time that one of these black holes will get on our orbit and suck everything including the earth.
9. Alien Invasion
We all know that our Universe is so big to explore, and aliens might be somewhere out there. Many of our researchers keep on exploring in the universe, finding the new earth and more. They always transmit signal using their high technology machines to keep track what is happening in universe. Transmitting the signal may be dangerous for us because aliens might detect it and they might be threatened. So they will decide to come on earth and destroy the world.
8. Robot Domination
We are starting to make a robot that is human like and can do task by its own. Later on, these robots will have its own mind and will no longer follow the humans or its master. We all know that robots are much stronger than human. They will dominate the world with its power and they can turn the humans into slave.
7. Virus
If the virus like Bird Flu will spread around the world and to other animals. Bird flu may also be endemic to humans and to other animals. Each and everyone could be infected and die.
As our technology becoming more advanced, the diseases are also evolving. Like the Bird Flu, if HIV mutated to become as transmissible as the common cold everyone could be infected and die.
6. Ice Age
We have been experiencing a sudden change of climate these days (too hot or too cold). If this kind of climate continues in several years, a phenomenon like an Ice Age would possibly come. This might not be gonna happen in our lifetime, but it would be happened in the next hundred years.
5. Extreme Heat
If today we are experiencing too much heat, how much more in the next hundred years. While the Sun is rising its luminosity, its means that the Earth is getting hotter. Certain minerals will be weathered more rapidly, and will result in less CO2. If no CO2, no plants will live and the ecosystem will collapse.
4. Nuclear War
Our Grandfather and Grandmother have seen and experienced the World War II. We may not experience it, but I know how devastating it was and how hard to survive. The technology in that time is not be so high, and weapons are may only cause minimal damage. But in todays technology where nuclear bombs are made so easily, I doubt if we can still survive. Not to mention the rocket launcher and many more.
3. Super Volcanoes
We do have lots of active volcanoes around the world, and plenty of them are known as super volcano. There are three super volcanoes in the US alone — one of them is Yellowstone. Then the Lake Toba in Indonesia, Taupo in New Zealand, and Aira Caldera in Japan. These volcanoes are capable of producing an eruption with an area of effect more than 240 cubic miles or shall we say thousands of times larger than an ordinary volcanoes. Imagine if all of the volcanoes will erupt at the same time including these super volcanoes? What will happen to the world?
2. Asteroids Impact
If you have seen the 2012 movie then that’s more likely to be happened. During the Jurassic period, hundreds of million years ago, where dinosaurs are still living on earth and suddenly it disappeared. The question is what happened? Many theories that a meteor or asteroid crashed into the earth million of years ago resulting to a sudden extinction of the dinosaurs. If the theory is right, there is a big possibility that it will happen again in the near future that will lead to the end of the world..
1. Mayan Apocalypse
This is the most talk about topic these days. Mayans accurately predicted the occurrence of a number of major events. They say that the world will end this coming December 21, 2012. This precise date is carved on a monumental stone at the Mayan City. They also believed that time flow was cyclical, not linear -- meaning we will start again from the beginning or reset.
There is also a report from NASA that the Mayan Apocalypse is just a myth. So there is no chance that the world will end this December 21, 2012. We will just wait for this day and let’s found out if the world would really end.
