
Did you know that the most poisonous snake in the world is the Inland Taipan or Fierce Snake? The recorded maximum yield for one bite is 110mg, and that will kill about 100 humans or equivalent to 250,000 mice. It is also 50 times venomous than a common Cobra and 10 times more as the Mojave Rattlesnake. Luckily, it is rarely encountered by humans and no fatalities have been recorded.
Aside from the Inland snake, we will count more up to 9 for the for the most poisonous snake in the world.
2. Eastern Brown Snake - is a very aggressive snake with a notorious speed. The eastern brown snake is also active during the day. They only react to movement, so better not to move when you encounter one.
3. Blue Krait - it is also called as Bungarus candidus, but commonly known as Malayan Krait or Blue Krait. They are more aggressive in the darkness, however, they will often attempt to hide than to fight. The venom is 16 times more potent than a Cobra.
4. Taipan - the taipan is quite aggressive compare to Inland Taipan. A fast moving and highly venomous snake of the elapid family.
5. Black Mamba - the fastest land snake in the world, can reach up to 20 km/hr. It is mostly found in African continent. Can strike up to 12 times in a row and capable of killing anywhere from 10-25 adults.
6. Tiger Snake - can be found in Australia and death from bite may occur within 30 minutes, but usually takes 6-24 hours.
7. Philippine Cobra - the most deadly venom in all cobra species, and capable of spitting it up to 3 meters.
8. Vipers - can be found all over the world and generally active after the rain.
9. Death Adder - found in Australia and New Guinea. They usually hunt and kill other snakes via ambush. Its bite causes paralysis and may cause death after 6 hours.
10. Rattlesnake - is a part of Pit Viper family and capable of striking at up to 2/3rd of their body length.
